The following is an Emergency Assistance Plan for divemasters and rescue divers in Roatan. At time of creation the details were correct but now dated and they may have changed.

- Delegate a Call for emergency assistance & Contact own dive-shop & Las Rocas. Contact Las Rocas dive shop in west bay for assistance in getting victim to shore or if a fast boat is available to transport via sea to Anthony’s Key Resort.
- Check for breathing and circulation, if needed begin CPR and continue circle of care
- ADMINISTER OXYGEN ALWAYS.
- Gather Information (symptoms, diver, profile and equipment) for medical services.
- Don’t make changes on any of the divers equipment, and send it with the diver
- Fill in accident report and alert DAN.
Circle of Care (repeat the following steps until professional help arrives)
Arousal > Airway > Breathing > Circulation > Bleeding > Shock
