Their Diving Plan

Your dive package includes the island's only 24/7 unlimited beach diving. Sites accessible from shore CoCo View Wall, Newman's wall, the wreck of the Prince Albert, and the CoCo View Channel. All of the above sites are boat dives for other resorts on the island. 2 boat trips daily include 1 tank at the site with an optional "drop-off" dive on the route back to the resort for up to 4 boat tanks daily. On a drop-off dive, your boat will heave-to and guests who have requested a drop off tank will exit. The boat will then continue to the marina and divers can follow the wall back to the CoCo View beach on their own. All shore dives are accessible at night as well.

  • During the week you may be offered some optional dive trips for additional cost. We offer an all-day to the West End of Roatan and to the East End (Port Royal) of Roatan. These 2 local all day trips happen weather permitting as well- 3 tanks, lunch provided (or guests can opt to take money and eat at local restaurant.)

  • An orientation dive is required if you have not been to CoCo View within the past 5 years. Basic rules are explained, you will be informed of reef structure and routes to the walls, and will be warned of any conditions that could be hazardous. It also allows you to re-familiarize yourself with your gear and refresh your skills. Orientations are normally given on the morning following your arrival.

Our 21 acre private island paradise is located off the South shore of Roatan, Bay Islands in Honduras. At Fantasy Island you will find everything you want for your dream Caribbean vacation.

The island of Roatan, Honduras is one of the world’s top scuba diving and snorkeling vacation destinations. This magical part of the world, where tropical waters are warm all year round, brings people from all over the globe.

Roatan is an exotic tropical island located in the Western Caribbean Sea surrounded by the second largest barrier reef in the world.

Whale sharks, caves and crevices, thousand-foot walls, wrecks, dolphins, reef and hammerhead sharks, and the largest number of sponges in the Caribbean, makes Roatan one of the most desirable worldwide diving and snorkeling destinations.

Our PADI 5 Star Dive Resort offers you everything under one roof.

A world class dive resort has experienced Divemasters, Captains and Instructors that focus on safety, customer satisfaction…and fun! Fantasy Island Divemasters have years of experience guiding divers on sites around Roatan and our Captains are the best on the island. The Dive Academy has PADI certified instructors qualified to teach novice to professional level courses. Our staff speak English, Spanish, Italian, French & German.

The Dive Centre is easily accessible from the hotel or marina. Facilities were built with the diver in mind; dive boats, rinse tanks and the gear storage room are steps away from each other. Our dive staff will load and unload your tanks from the dive boats. The famed south shore dive sites are but minutes away.

For those who prefer to dive from shore at their own pace, day or night, a unique dive Gazebo places a mysterious shipwreck, a sunken airplane a beautifull shallow reef and dramatic wall diving just a giant stride away.

Water conditions: Expect water temperatures in the low 80F in summer and high 70F in winter. Although visibility can peak at 100 feet or more, expect an average of 80 feet, unless when storms or plankton cloud the water.
