Roatan Articles - Diving Articles
I did it and today I am seeing many others doing the same thing - just having an amazing time diving every day making friends and there is also room for a party. Sound like fun - it is one of the better things I did in my lucky life.
PADI Divemaster is the meat on the bones of the professional diver courses available via PADI the Professional Association of Dive Instructors. Doing an internship at coconut tree divers I was diving every day with the customers helping them get their gear being close to them when they need you and yet allowing them the space in the water to enjoy their dive. You will be learning the industry of scubadiving from many angles. In Roatan this means leading dives and helping to assist diving instructors with the dive courses. That means the instructor can focus on showing the students and teaching them without spending all the time humping gear around and settling first timers in confined water.
You will learn serious dive theory from decompression sickness and how to avoid it and what to do in case in the rare event it occurs. You will learn teaching methods and be able to teach Discover Scuba Dive Courses upon completion. You will learn tons of info just hanging round the dive shop and yourself will improve your buoyancy as you dive a lot.
Its the best 1000$ I ever spent - hang on wait a minute that week end in cabo was pretty good too..
